Protecting the gates of sanity from the
barbarians
Kevin Jackson’s acclaimed first single, American
Dream, is a sarcastic look into a society basing
their status solely on materialism. The single
was recorded at The Tone Factory in Las Vegas
by producer Vincent Castaldo. The Tone Factory
has also worked with Sony, All American
Rejects, Five Finger Death Punch, and Mac
Records.
Born in Detroit, Michigan the vocalist known as
Kevin Jackson moved with his mother to Israel
at the age of two. Looking back, Kevin describes
the experience as “A unique opportunity to
explore different genre of music from Middle
Eastern influences as well as Spanish (Luis
Miguel and Mana).
Kevin had a steady diet of American music including such great influences as Michael
Jackson, and Ice Cube. Kevin Jackson‘s music style has grown in to a global pop rock
sound, as evident by his debut single American Dream. When he discovered the smiths
and Morrissey as a solo artist, it had a profound influence on the lyrical style of his song
writing.
His debut CD “Comatose” is to be released in 2012. The debut will be a mixture of
thoughtful lyrics about such subjects, as the other side of love, politics and life at its
cynically best. His songs are created to be performed live, which captures all of the energy
pain and truth of his songs.
Having just completed his first live show in Las Vegas, to rousing reception, this artist will
be a force to be reckoned with, for years to come.
